Our mission is to ignite a passion for wild places, teach responsible outdoor practices, and create unforgettable experiences. Every ride, every cast, and every campfire is a step toward a stronger bond with the natural world. We offer day and multi-day fly fishing trips in the Laramie Mountains and remote wall-tent backcountry camps. These are private, customized experiences with local guide expertise. About Dillan:
Dillan Spence grew up in Casper, Wyoming, where he spent his early years fishing the waters of the Bighorn, Wind River, and Laramie ranges, as well as the North Platte River, alongside his grandfather. Before graduating from the University of Wyoming in 2022, Dillan began pursuing a career in the outdoors.
After gaining experience as a backcountry hunting guide, he founded Mountain Country Outdoors, centered around one of his most cherished fishing locations — the North Laramie River.
Preservation and education in the natural world are at the heart of Dillan’s mission. A teacher at heart, he enjoys sharing his deep local knowledge and the world-class fishing opportunities of the North Laramie River with clients of all skill levels.
